Kirk's Medical Compounding Pharmacy provides an important service to the patient through customized medications. Compounding is achieved through a proactive relationship among patient, physician and Kirk's pharmacists. The physician prescribes medication for treatment; Kirk's pharmacist takes the necessary ingredients, compounds them, and dispenses the medicine to the patient. This enables patients to receive the type of personalized care they deserve and allows Kirk's pharmacists the opportunity to provide superior patient services.
Kirk's compounding pharmacists focus on meeting special needs of our clients. This may involve compounding height/weight-appropriate medications or transdermal gels when treating hospice patients. Kirk's Compounding Pharmacy operates from the East side of Olympia (6149 Martin Way E). The Pharmacy primarily serves institutional patients in nursing homes, group homes, and the occasional special needs patient.
